Which Strings do you use or prefer?

I am a recreational club player. i like to use poly strings like RPM Blast for durability and consistency. I have tried hybrid setup with natural gut and multifilament, which is very comfortable and responsive but does not last more than a week or two.

How about some personal experience and recommendations from the more experienced players? Share your thoughts.

I like RPM blast 16 gauge strings.
Thin strings give you more punch.

RPM Blast Rough in the mian 17g and VS Touch in the cross 16g at 55lbs.

Spin
Power
Comfort
Control
In this order.

However I rather use Luxilon instead of RPM and switch crosses to main setup for more punch.

For club players over 40 years a hybrid set or even a full bed multifilament is a better option for comfort and to avoid injuries.

1. If money is no problem then use Babolat VS Touch natural gut in main or crosses. In MAINS if you have a good topspin and in CROSSES if you are a FLAT hitter and need more help from a spin friendly poly.

2. Economical option is to use a colored multifilament instead if the natural gut.

3. Natural color multifilament is a slightly expensive option because it will break more than colored.

For the polyester strings the best buy a higher guage so they are thin and more responsive. RPM, ALU and such are not really for the clubies- they are more expensive than Heads, Signums and Solincos, but they will hinder your progress at club level.
